Our Mission
Make supply chain knowledge and operational math freely accessible to every practitioner - from a one-person 3PL to a global procurement team.

SupplyChain.tools is an open reference platform of fast, accurate calculators, lookup tools, and definitions for everyone working in freight, logistics, warehousing, procurement, and inventory management. The core stays free. A free account unlocks saved work and additional pro features.
Make supply chain knowledge and operational math freely accessible to every practitioner - from a one-person 3PL to a global procurement team.
Freight brokers, shippers, 3PL and warehouse operators, logistics coordinators, procurement managers, supply chain analysts, and students.
Server-rendered pages for speed and SEO, calculations that run instantly in your browser, and reference data sourced from NMFTA, carrier tariffs, and GLEC.
Supply chain teams spend hours every week on the same handful of calculations - freight class density, dimensional weight, pallet build-outs, safety stock, reorder points, landed cost. The math is well understood, but the tooling is scattered across spreadsheets, paywalled platforms, and outdated PDF references.
SupplyChain.tools brings those calculations and reference datasets into one fast, searchable site. Every formula is documented, every lookup is text-first and screen-reader friendly, and every page is built to be indexable by search engines and answerable by AI assistants.
We're independent, ad-light, and not trying to upsell a TMS, WMS, or freight brokerage. The platform exists because the people who keep goods moving deserve better tools than a folder of legacy XLS files.
Freight class, dimensional weight, CBM, pallet build, container loading, fuel surcharge, TL vs LTL, and carbon emissions.

Yes. Every core calculator, lookup tool, and glossary entry is free to use without an account. A free profile unlocks saved calculations and some advanced pro calculators. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but the core reference tools will stay free.
No. Inputs run entirely in your browser. Nothing about your shipment, SKU counts, or pricing is transmitted unless you explicitly save a calculation to your own logged-in profile.
Absolutely - linking, embedding screenshots in training materials, and citing definitions are all encouraged. Please don't scrape and republish the underlying datasets verbatim.
