Cubic Meter (CBM or m³) is the standard volumetric unit used in international shipping. In ocean freight, LCL (Less-than-Container-Load) pricing is typically quoted per CBM. Air freight uses a volumetric weight conversion where 1 CBM = 167 kg or 366 lbs for billing purposes.
