An Incoterm where the seller delivers goods on board the vessel; risk transfers at the ship rail.
Free On Board (FOB) is an Incoterm that defines when responsibility and risk transfer from seller to buyer. Under FOB, the seller is responsible for goods until they are loaded onto the vessel at the named port; the buyer assumes risk thereafter.
